The 19-year-old darts champion will be challenged by 20 amateur players in a live event in October.

Darts champion Luke Littler is to front a new Netflix series that will see him play against everyday darts players. Beat Luke Littler will be a live darts event in which anybody can enter, with 20 people ultimately being chosen to take part. In a video message announcing the event,, external which takes place on 30 October, Littler says: "Reckon you could beat me in a game of darts? Let's go." Members of the public who challenge the 19-year-old on the show will have a chance to win £501,000. The jackpot is a reference to the 501 points that players work down from in darts as they aim for a score of zero. Open regional heats will be held in London and Manchester in September for those who want to be in with a chance of beating Littler. Littler's video message sees him reading social media messages from people claiming they could beat him. Anybody aged 12 and over can apply for the series, although those aged under 18 attending open auditions must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
