Privacy Policy
Date of last update: 08 July 2026
1. Introduction
The Pulse Geo News project team (hereinafter referred to as the 'Administration' or 'we') respects the privacy of its users. This Policy explains how we process technical and personal data when you use our aggregator (hereinafter referred to as the 'Service').
Despite the project being in its beta phase, we are committed to adhering to the fundamental principles of data protection set out in the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK Data Protection Act (UK GDPR).
2. What data is processed
As the Service is currently in the testing phase, we minimise data collection. It is important to understand the difference between public content and your data:
2.1 News, articles and content displayed on the Service are collected from publicly available third-party RSS feeds. This content does not constitute users' personal data and is not governed by this Policy.
2.2 IP address, device type, operating system, browser language settings, and cookies (for session management and basic traffic analytics).
2.3 Browsing history within the Service and your preferences regarding news categories (required for the personalisation algorithm to function).
2.4 Your email address (collected only if you voluntarily subscribe to the newsletter or contact technical support).
3. The role of AI and the use of your data
The service uses artificial intelligence (AI) technology as a tool to process news from RSS feeds and improve the user experience:
3.1 The translation and summarisation functions performed by AI are applied exclusively to public texts from RSS feeds, and not to your personal data.
3.2 We do not use your personal data to train third-party AI-based models.
3.3 Your technical data (in particular, IP addresses) may be checked to automatically restrict access to users from sanctioned regions (in order to strictly comply with our Sanctions Policy).
4. Data storage and international data transfers
4.1 Data is processed on cloud servers that provide a high level of data protection.
4.2 As part of our future international expansion, data may be processed outside your country of residence. We guarantee that we do not transfer or store data in jurisdictions of countries or territories subject to international sanctions.
4.3 We never sell, transfer or disclose users' personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.
5. Users' rights (in accordance with the GDPR / UK GDPR)
You have the right to control your data. During the beta testing phase, you may:
5.1 Request the deletion of your data: To do this, simply clear the cookies in your browser or contact us via our contact email address.
5.2 Withdraw your consent to data processing: You may do so at any time simply by ceasing to use the Service.
6. Changes to the policy
As the start-up develops, new features are added, its commercial status changes or a legal entity is registered, this Policy will be updated. We recommend that you check this page regularly for the latest information.
7. Contact details
If you have any questions regarding the operation of AI algorithms, data protection or compliance with sanctions restrictions, you can contact the development team by email at: pulselocalnews@gmail.com
Terms of Use
Date of last update: 08 July 2026
1. General Provisions
This User Agreement governs the relationship between the development team of the Pulse Geo News project (hereinafter referred to as the 'Administration' or 'we') and the user (hereinafter referred to as the 'User' or 'you') of the Pulse Geo News news aggregator. By using the Service, you automatically and fully agree to the terms of this Agreement.
2. Beta Testing Status (Beta Version)
2.1 The Service is currently in the stage of development, testing and demonstration of its technical capabilities (MVP / Beta version). Access to the Service is provided free of charge.
2.2 The Administration does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, the absence of technical errors or malfunctions, or the security of user data (e.g. reading history or settings).
3. Description of the Service and the use of AI
3.1 RSS-based aggregation and AI processing: News content is collected automatically from public global sources via publicly available RSS feeds. Artificial intelligence (AI) technologies are used by the Service solely as additional tools for the subsequent processing of the data received: text analysis, automatic translation, and summarisation (creation of a summary).
3.2 No editorial control: The administration is not the creator, author or original source of the news. All source content is fed from third-party RSS feeds and is subsequently processed by algorithms without human intervention. The Administration does not carry out manual moderation, fact-checking or censorship of content prior to its publication.
3.3 Disclaimer regarding content: The Administration accepts no responsibility for the content, accuracy or legality of the original articles obtained via RSS feeds. Furthermore, the Administration does not guarantee 100% accuracy, objectivity or correctness of AI-generated summaries and translations. AI may contain factual or logical errors or fail to accurately convey the original context. Users shall use the information provided solely for informational purposes and at their own risk.
4. Sanctions Policy and Counter-Terrorism
The project administration adheres to strict ethical and legal standards:
4.1 The service is not intended for use by, nor does it provide services to, individuals, organisations or territories subject to international sanctions imposed by the European Union (EU), the United Kingdom, the United States or the United Nations.
4.2 We categorically do not support, cooperate with or provide a platform for the dissemination of material by any organisations or individuals recognised by the international community as terrorists or extremists.
4.3 The Administration reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to block access to the Service (by IP address or other technical identifiers) for users from sanctioned regions or where there is suspicion of a breach of this section.
5. Geography and International Expansion
5.1 The Service is initially aimed at users from European Union countries and the United Kingdom. As the Service develops, it may expand worldwide, with the exception of countries and territories subject to international sanctions (in accordance with Section 4).
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 All rights to original news articles belong to their lawful authors and original sources. The Service uses this material solely for informational purposes, with a mandatory reference to the original source (Fair Use).
6.2 All rights to the Service's programme code, interface, design and unique algorithms belong to the project's development team.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Administration accepts no liability for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential losses, loss of data or damage to reputation arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Service, or as a result of the User's reliance on information generated by AI.
