Lewis Hamilton was given a five-second penalty for speeding in the pit lane during the Hungarian Grand Prix McLaren's Lando Norris won the Hungarian Grand Prix from pole position, his first victory since becoming world champion. Red Bull's Max Verstappen was second and Mercedes' championship leader Kimi Antonelli completed the podium in third. Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton was given a five-second penalty for speeding in the pit lane and finished fifth behind his team-mate Charles Leclerc.
