Captain Dewi Lake recovers from injury to be named by Wales against South Africa for the Nations Championship match in Durban on Saturday.

Wales have named captain Dewi Lake in their side for the Nations Championship match against South Africa in Durban on Saturday. The hooker hobbled off in last weekend's defeat by Argentina and was a major doubt for the Springboks match but has been selected by head coach Steve Tandy. Wales have made six changes from the side that lost 35-21 in San Juan with wing Louis Rees-Zammit, centres Ben Thomas and Max Llewellyn, fly-half Dan Edwards, lock Teddy Williams and flanker Alex Mann starting. Centre Joe Hawkins and flanker James Botham drop to a replacements bench that includes six forwards, with Leicester flanker Tommy Reffell included in this tournament for the first time. Dragons captain Ben Carter injured an ankle in training on Wednesday and Taine Plumtree nursing a knock, so Gloucester lock Freddie Thomas is named on the bench after only flying out to South Africa a couple of days ago as injury cover. Listen on BBC Radio Wales, BBC Radio Cymru, BBC Sounds and the BBC Sport website and app which also has live text commentary. Watch live on S4C. Dragons hooker Elliot Dee had been flown out as cover for Lake, who Wales say has come through two training sessions. Lake, 27, is in line to continue his record as the only Wales player to start every Test under Tandy.
